Colonade

Colonade

Malia, Crete

This row of columns opened out onto the central courtyard in the Palace of Malia. It was destroyed in the 15th century BCE and then abandoned, so the site is relatively in tact. It is a bit smaller and more manageable than the Palace of Knossos. It is also a good deal less crowded, which is a definite plus.
